Parenting with Purpose (PWP) was founded by Paul and Lori Strong in 1995 to break the cycle of inter-generational crime. PWP matches children of prisoners with caring adult mentors, teaches parenting classes to incarcerated parents, and provides a variety of services designed to assist families impacted by incarceration. PWP has been able to bring healing and restoration to nearly 3,000 families in the Minneapolis/St. Paul area that have been broken by the incarceration of a parent.
